Is there a secondary quite or secondary range? This is important for the electrician to do the load calculation needed for them to determine if there is enough power left in your home to get the permit needed to install the charger
Is there empty space in the panel/subpanel available to install the breaker (How many empty slots are available, at least 2 slots side by side must be available)?

What's the distance, in feet, between the panel/subpanel to the location where the EV charger will be installed?
Is your residence EV ready? Meaning, it has already the breaker, wired and outlet needed for the charger.
Will the charger be installed in a detached garage or outside the residence where underground cabling is needed?
In order to run a cable from the electrical panel to charger, will there be a need to cut through any walls? (i.e. If panel is in the main room and the installation location is inside the garage, the installer may need to drill a hole to get the wire from the main floor to the garage)
